Connect. Learn. Community.
MNEA member tip: Go to the For Members page to view event materials and recorded webinars.
Join MNEA's series called "Making Connections," a low-key event prioritizing connection and community-building for our members. This series will have in-person and virtual opportunities.
This month, we will be meeting virtually.
This event will be hosted by Molly O'Connor (Past President). When this event is in-person, look for a table with a piece of paper with "MNEA" written on it. We also plan to rotate locations and times every month to make this event more accessible for folks who cannot make certain events due to time or transportation constraints. When this event is virtual, it will be over Zoom.
COVID INFO: If we meet indoors, please bring masks (we will try to have some on hand). There is no expectation of wearing your mask indoors, but please have one on hand if it is requested by a fellow member. And, of course, do not attend if you are feeling unwell and/or COVID-positive.
We look forward to connecting with you all!
Culturally Responsive and Equity-Focused Evaluation Approaches
This Hot Pocket Topic event focuses on understanding the differences between various culturally responsive and equity-focused evaluation approaches. Before the meeting, please explore the Eval Matrix created by Strategy Learning Partners for Innovation. The Eval Matrix is an interactive tool that can help understand the differences and nuances between culturally competent, culturally responsive, culturally responsive and equitable, culturally responsive indigenous, empowerment, equity focused, and transformative evaluation.
The Hot Pocket Topic series is a facilitated group discussion that provides an opportunity for members to share perspectives/experiences and ask questions about current evaluation-related topics. Join other MNEA members on Tuesday, May 28 in discussion and put another hot topic in your pocket!
MNEA is committed to making our events accessible to everyone. Please register by May 21 if you would like an accommodation, and include your request in the registration form.
